Why Choose Épée Fencing?

Épée is one of the three Olympic fencing disciplines. A touch is scored with the point of the weapon, and the entire body is a valid target. There is no right-of-way rule: the fencer who lands the first touch scores the point, although simultaneous touches can also score. These rules make épée an accessible discipline for beginners to learn.

Fencing develops reflexes, concentration and respect for your opponent. Every bout begins with a salute and ends with a handshake, regardless of the result.

Muszkieter Trophy

Muszkieter Trophy is an international épée fencing tournament for girls and boys, organised by our club in Gliwice since 1992. Each year, more than 400 young fencers compete across age categories ranging from U11 to U17. Selected editions have also included events for amateur fencers and veterans.
